Specialty Pepper Varieties 2024

This season, we are growing over 40 varieties of specialty peppers! We’ve got peppers in every size and every color of the rainbow (almost). We’ve got peppers so sweet they taste like candy – and for those of you who love the heat, we’ve got you covered. We have something for everyone, no matter your pepper preference!

It’s quite an undertaking to get these growing – some of them have to be started in late December/early January just to make sure there is enough time to produce fruit. And some varieties are harder to germinate than others…requiring heat mats and damp paper towels for seed germination. Once they are up and growing, there’s quite a bit of “up potting” involved because we can’t even plant them out until after the first frost so they need more soil to spread their roots until they can go out in the garden. It’s definitely an involved process, but the site of all these beauties laid out on the market table for our customers makes it worth all of the effort.

And as always, these are organically grown by us, for you! No pesticides, no herbicides, no chemicals – whatsoever.
